More than 200,000
people in Essex may be living with a neurological condition
This suggests that more than 200,000 people in Essex may be living with a neurological condition. It is an estimate based on applying the one-in-six figure to the local population, not a directly measured diagnosis count. A later July 2025 ENN estimate says “well over 250,000”; figures vary with the population estimate.
